Meta says 80 sales. Your store says 52. GetAttrib reads the real orders from Shopify, WooCommerce or Stripe, finds the visitor behind each one, and credits the first ad that found them. Each sale gets one answer, saved when the payment arrives, so the total matches your store.
An ad network can count a sale when someone only saw an ad, and two platforms can claim one order. Your store counts it once.
A returning buyer's order is not proof the latest ad worked. Renewals and repeat orders need their own rule.
Free orders and duplicate copies of the same payment can inflate results if they are counted.
A new customer's sale goes to their first recorded visit. A returning customer's goes to the first paid ad click in the 30 days before they paid, or is marked as not an ad sale.
Duplicate payments are counted once, $0 orders are ignored, and subscription renewals are shown as renewals.
Shopify, WooCommerce and Stripe orders are matched to visitors automatically.
On paid plans, confirmed sales go back to your pixel through the Conversions API so Meta learns from real orders.
A shopper clicks a Meta ad for a summer collection and browses.
They return directly and add a product to the cart.
A $120 order arrives in Shopify. It is credited to the Day 1 ad set and sent to Meta as a confirmed sale.
Example only. The names and amounts are made up to show how a journey reads.
